Commissioned Art
I would call the way I do commissions “relational art”.
You come with the ideas and I come with a the expertise and together we create something meaningful to you and your family.
It can be a single image or a collage of moments, symbols and places that hold significant memories for you. It can be just an idea that you would love to see come to fruition.
Customers have taken there one of a kind art, made prints to give as gifts and kept the originals. Most of the time the response to a gift of commissioned art is happy tears.
Paint Parties
Whether your friends are eight or eighty, gather them up, add treats, & GO! If you live in or around the Minneapolis or St. Paul area and a watercolor paint party sounds fun, give me a call! You bring the people, snacks, and (perhaps) wine, and I will bring everything else. Creating something beautiful, trying a new skill and being with friends…what’s not to love?!

Poetry
Poetry for me is simply painting with words. Often these words sound like prayers. Some of the things I write about are struggles we have as Christians in the battle to be happy in hope. C.S. Lewis writes “I believe in Christianity like I believe that the sun has risen; not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else.” Poetry is just trying to articulate those things I see.
